Yay! Free Comic Book Day at Ace Comics & Games in Annerley, QLD, was awesome! Thank you so much to the staff of Ace Comics and to everyone who came out. Thank you as well to the sketch commissioners! I had fun doing them for y'all. I can't wait to do another event with Ace Comics! ^_^

So let's get on to the sketches, shall we?

This one was my warm-up, but a nice man took it home to his daughter. I made Finn and Flame Princess a little older in this one. What can I say? I'm a sucker for older Finn. Trevor complained that Finn doesn't have a cyborg arm like he often does in the future. Oh well. ^_^;;

I was commissioned to do an "awesome looking knight with a big sword". I think I delivered here. I wish I had turned the sword blade a bit though. ^_^;;

Yay, mermaid! They're always so much fun to draw because of the tail.

The concept behind this one was "sexy", so I drew Freya. That's pretty sexy. The crazy text is inspired by a favorite manga of mine, Yamada and the Seven Witches, which is infamous for having such sayings on the splash page.

I think I made Superman a bit anemic here. ^_^;; ...Wait! It's Superboy! XD

A kid asked me for The Avengers, and I think he wanted the whole cast. I narrowed him down to the best ones: Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor.

The final sketch of the day went to a reader! Yay! He wanted Yuuki, and his young companion wanted a ninja. Why not both? ^_^

Well, that's all! I hope you liked the sketches. I'm planning on having another Sketchfiend soon, so stay tuned and keep checking the SGVY Facebook page or the SGVY Twitter feed!

It's a freeing feeling.
